On Wednesday, the state announced that the seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate dropped a full point to 8.9%, marking the fourth straight month that unemployment numbers have declined
…We’re also pleased to see Gov. Justice inject an additional $6 million to help provide child care for essential workers when some of the federal assistance was running out.
Child care is imperative to keeping our essential workers on the job, and also in helping others return to work in the coming months.”
